I really love having Ciao Ciao in the neighborhood. My kids and I love coming here after hitting up the Portage Park playground or pool. Sometimes when I need a little treat without the kids I'll walk over here to enjoy a nice affogato. I've had it with Pistachio gelato and with Salted Caramel gelato, and both were really good. The people who work the counter are always super welcoming, nice, and patient while we make the very serious decision of what Gelato will we try today? The inside is nice, and has a few Instagram-able areas to take pics. They are walking distance from my home, so I've never driven but I suspect that parking wouldn't be too hard to find off of Irving Park. Now that I'm posting this review I see "temporarily closed".... PLEASE be only temporary!

Great experience the gelato are phenomenal. Great environment for the family. They give you a really nice welcome for sure. I will bring my family again to enjoy a good gelato.

Fernanda....LOVE HER! some of the flavors SHE created! We loved her passion and we could taste test anything we wanted later in the night. I got the fig Gelato...awesome! Nothing bad here.... must check this place out guys... ENJOY!!!!

Went for a late night snack and was very much satisfied with my strawberry bubble waffle. Excellent service from the young lady that helped us that night. Will definitely be going back to try out other treats.

Stopped in last night after having dinner next door and it was the PERFECT dessert on a beautiful night! Oh my , you've got to stop in and give it a try... sooooo good! They have a lots of flavors to choose from ,they also offer samplings so you can try before you buy. I Highly recommend it. You can mix and pair different flavors 1,2 or 3 scoops is the way to go. I went with 2- strawberry & coconut... so freaking refreshning, light and dam good! Great for date night, family night, with the kids , it's a fun , clean welcoming business, can't wait to go back multiple times this summer!

OMG soooooo good!!!!! The staff is so nice also! Can’t wait to go back! I could literally eat gelato everyday if I lived near them! It was so yummy and creamy and sweet but not super sweet. It was just right!

For real, this place is great. The gelato is quality and absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is very wholesome and the music choice is great and fitting. If you're nearby, I highly recommend buying yourself and your family a cone and dining in. Top tier, would dine again!!!!
